    ok so im planning on taking my seat and turning it into a slimmer solo seat and was wondering if you guys know where i could find gel insert to put under the cover.

    You mean taking your stock seat and cutting it down? Just gel pads to go under the material you mean?

    You might want to try selling it on ebay and use the money you get to get a LaRosa seat or something. Maybe add some springs in there too.

    ive never really liked the look of spring seats that much and i am going to make my own design on leather because i was inspired by a thread on another forum and its the only thing i am happy about winter for is to make this seat and just though that the gel would make me but a little happier.

    here is the thread. i would ship it off to him but want the satisfaction of doing it myself.

    Are you going to do all the leather tooling as well? That will be quite the undertaking. Like to see the end results, that will look bad ass!

    Heres a few pix of my seat I had Scott do for me, mentioned by Gas...I understand the satisfaction of DIY however. But that is beyond me...

    If you want hand tooled I can make a suggestion on such as well. Probably one of the best toolers on the east coast.
