    Twas a dark and dreary afternoon in the desert. About 150 miles out and I said F-it I'll wait for a nicer day, turned around and went home.

    Went for a short cruise yesterday afternoon and took a couple of pictures. This is the Salt River recreation area.

    I picked up my bike from Chandler HD on Monday. They washed the bike and everything was as expected, (brakes work as they should). I had lunch, then started out for Maricopa. 18 miles across the desert. About half way I ran into a Haboob (a dust storm like no other) that brought traffic to a crawl. I managed to get through and made it home, After cleaning the bike and me all is well.Quite the experience
