We're going to be on Oahu. 3 days of our trip are a business meeting, we've extended both ends to get a few days of vacation time. Never been there before, really looking forward to it!

That's a great way to expense a good majority.

Oahu is nice, been there many times. Honolulu is a big city with traffic, but there are nice places for sure. Make sure you get out to the North Shore, and if you do, you MUST have dinner at Jameson's. The dining room has a spectacular view overlooking the ocean, amazing sunsets and great food. http://www.restauranteur.com/jamesonshawaii/. The North Shore has some of the best surfing in the world. I'm not sure if it will be the season for great surfing, but its cool just generally.

Must do Pearl Harbor of course. Driving the Pali Highway is gorgeous, Hanauma bay is a lot of fun too.

The Royal Hawaiian is also a great place to take your honey for a nice dinner, very close to Waikiki beach.

I used to call on military customers, Hickam AFB is there, dripping with history. The office buildings used to be barracks in the 40's, the outside walls still have pock marks from the bullets from being strafed by Japanese Zeros. If found it quite chilling.

Thanks for the suggestions Keith. Definitely a few on that list I want to see and do. I'll try and remember to take pictures. Hoping to find time time to rent a bike while I'm there...
