So I played with the high pass crossovers on the amp, and the gains, and the speakers cross over settings. Ended up with the same setting as Dave & Moe (even though we have different speakers).

I have the Focal cross overs tweeters on high pass and full sound. They offer the ability to turn down the tweeters -3 or -6. I have them at full.

The final lay down... Focal cross overs on the sides and the amp double zip tied down.

I ended up using a set of J&M fairing pads to tighten up the bass. Obvi there is a pad for each side.

Fairing all back on... the yellow being toned down is perfect. The sound is make your ears bleed loud. So clear!!

Now if Baker will just get me back my parts... they called me on monday; told me the powder had pealed due to their machining and asked if I wanted it re-powdered. No shit I do... and I told him he should consider doing all the parts so they match. He said he would look into it. So now I wait.

So I got my Baker parts back...

The engine extension shaft re-machined; hope it works.

Here's where they machined the inside of this outer primary. Notice they didn't even clean out all the holes at the 4 o'clock position

    I cleaned that out

It wasn't much that they cut out.

So even after I told them to consider re-powder coating the other 4 parts... they didn't. It's off a shade. I tried some WD-40 to help the old powder along but...

To further the problems they failed to re-cut or clean the powder off the edge where the outer and inner match. This creates a very very off color between the two. I think that was the purpose of it being machined clean. Because now, the two colors are next to each other.

I'm calling Baker tomorrow. Anybody got Burt Baker's direct number? I'm livid!!

Looks like the powder is chipped or marked at the bottom of the comp cover.

Sat I got the main bits of the primary put back together.

    Today...

Getting the cover on and torqued in

    All together

The shade doesn't seem off in this lighting

All set ready for 2016 riding season

I hope the powder color will bake in to match more. We shall see....

    Soooooo

After listening to many horns for cars, trucks, trumpets, trains, bikes... I found these Wolo Loud Ones (2 terminal) and I liked what I heard online from the low tone. $16 on amazon. Gotta try it.

But it needed to be cut down a bit to fit under my horn cover.

It was quite a bit larger than the stock one (left). But with it trimmed down, they are close.

    But got it to fit

    The skull has returned...

Here's a small honk... Dave & Moe heard it yesterday... it's LOUD!
