    Yep, Al, - that's true. But I rarely used the high beam anyway and the brightness increase was worth losing that. I'd really like to get the daymaker type lights down the road, but this was an inexpensive alternative.

    I ended up buying my h4 replacements from socal motogear. Ill let everyone know how they perform when i get them in. Supposedly they have high/low beam setting. Passive cooled.

    I'm just hoping they don't run too hot. I figured with them being passively cooled thats one less thing to fail. Picked up an amp and speaker kit too for when I have the fairing off.

    Well, looks like the lights are going back. The heatsinks pushed up against where the amp installed, and the faring didnt quite go back on cleanly. Also, I had a lot of radio static afterwards. I ended up putting in OSRAM night racer 110's for around 40 bucks. Much brighter than stock, im pretty happy with them.

    These aren't the fuel moto lights. they were from socal motogear.
