Default My kid, shooting for the first time

UltraAl's Kentucky thread inspired me to post a picture of my daughter Sophie shooting for the first time.

A friend and I took our kids over to the range at Bald Mountain (a fantastic facility, if you get the urge to do some trap shooting.)

She did great! I love this pic because you can see fire in the chamber, and smoke coming out the muzzle.

That is awesome! I hope she had a great time. Good to teach the little-uns how to shoot, get them interested in the sport. Way to go Kosher!

That's great. I started shooting with my girls about 2 years ago. My 13 year old can outshoot me with the pistol, we're equals with the rifles but I'm still better at skeet. Keep shooting with them. I love going to the range with them and they get so much attention form the other shooters.

    That's a great shot!
I prefer peace. But if trouble must come, let it come in my time, so that my children can live in peace.
