    Not sure why anyone would want to... Seemed to do the job rather well though.
    some people just need a high five.. in the face.... with a chair......

    Everyone that has done it claims they ride incredibly well.

    Then there's the 40K miles you get on a car tire vs 12-15K for a moto tire makes it a very cost effective option vs the unspeakably ridiculous prices the dealers charge for tires and mounting.

    Many years ago we rode on tires that were much like automobile tires, and they worked for us then. I donít think I would mount a used car tire but a new one should be fine .Many automobile tires are rated for heavier loads and higher speeds than the tires we install on your touring bikes today.

    From what I read on other forums, consistent comments around a car tire being more work in slow speed maneuvering.

    that would make since considering the bike tires are much more rounded.

    Right but I think the car tire would be much better in rain/wet riding.

    The trick to it apparently is finding the right amount of air pressure allowing for better cornering
