    Default Remington 1911 R1 Enhanced

Thought I would try one of these since it had pretty good reviews. I am very impressed with this pc. I am a new fan again of the 1911 platform. I have a carry STI that I also love but wanted a full size 45 that didn't break the bank and was still a all US made gun. Here are the 2 side by side.

Worst mistake I ever made was selling my Springfield 1911.

I just picked up a sig P238 from Chris's uncle yesterday and I'm really enjoying it so far. Its as small as an lcp to carry but shoots so nice. I really like it and its the first time Ive carried anyhing other than my XDs in a long time.

Yeah a 1911 has to be one of sharpest handguns there is, those two you have are almost to pretty to carry. I have a full size Colt 1911, I love it will never sell it. For concealed carry I have a Tupperware gun ( Glock 30) not much to look at but it's a work horse, that doesn't rust and if I were to ever drop it I wouldn't cry as much as if I dropped my Colt

Son in law bought an R1. new for about 6 bills Very nice !!! Decent trigger as compared to my Colt. Accurate right out of the box. Several hundred rounds through it with no failures. Its a keeper!
