Default The streak is still alive!

I had just about given up on riding in January, and having my 14 month straight riding streak come to an end. But as I was driving home tonight, I kept looking at the roads thinking, 'it's not too bad. I can ride in this.' Got home, ate some dinner, and fired up the SuperGlide around 8:45 this evening.

Worst part was getting down my street out to Arsenal Road, which was pretty clear. My street was pretty slick, but slow and steady wins the race. After that, it was a breeze, riding Van Horn, Telegraph, etc. Put on about 10 miles. Not enough to brag about, but enough to keep the streak alive. 15 months and counting. Now I'm hoping I can get a few good days in as February comes storming in!

Good job, man! A bit salty out there, but good on ya. My driveway and neighborhood have a ton of snow and ice, not do-able, but I got my January ride in during that brief warm up early in the month.

That's great Al! I seen a guy on a road glide yesterday in Lapeer. I thought the roads were still too messy but he seem to be enjoying himself.

Yea, it was really bothering me that January had kicked my butt. I had given up on it. It was a last minute decision.

Then I wake up this morning, and it's like January never left!

The only thing them photos prove is that you rode to the end of your driveway....
