Five minute alert time and guaranteed recovery is pretty damn good. According to the comparison chart, FiN vs. lojack the FiN is a way better product hands down. Wonder what the cost is for the unit and monitoring........unless I missed it .

First year's connection service is included in the price of the FIN®. Subsequent years are less than $7.50 per month. You should also receive a discount on your insurance so that may be offset.

Fin® Guarantee: FIN will pay up to $1,000 of your deductible towards the purchase of a replacement vehicle if we are unable to locate your FIN protected vehicle.

Here is a customer testimony on recovery:
“I purchase my first bike and knew it was very light and an easy target for thieves. My dealers suggested I install FIN. Two months later it happened. I called FIN and they found my bike in a matter of minutes. I gave them the Sheriff’s Office where I reported it stolen and had my bike back and thief in the back seat of the police car in under 1 ˝ hours! Thank you, FIN!”

The system is amazing. You can show exactly where your bike is on your smart phone any time. And unlike LoJack, the coverage is over all of North America.

Very simple. You just hide it. It's small - like the size of a credit card and a little less than 1" thick. Should not take more than 15-20 minutes and there are just 2 wires to attach - "Hot and Ground". It's good if you install it yourself because then no one else knows it's on there or where it is. However, any car stereo installer can do the job.

Thanks for the info. Definitely a sound investment. Especially when you are staying at a random hotel somewhere and don't know the area. I always wonder if my bike will be there in the morning.

You would know within seconds if the bike was moved. You get a text message and/or email.
