Default Retro motorcycles roar into present

    Interesting bikes.

A lot of those nice looking old motorcycles you see on the roads may not be very old at all. Some of the coolest new bikes on the road today look like they came off the production line decades ago

I love these style bikes... if I didn't already have a smaller bike I'd look into these.

I think there is a thread here on the cleveland cycles... cool set of guys with a good biz plan.

True but the nice ability to just turn key is always a plus. If you throw in the possibility of ABS... bonus.

Oh lord, please, no ABS debates. Worse than oil threads because questions of skill enter into the conversation. Personally I'm a believer but there are some cro-magnons who think they can do better than ABS. I think they are wrong, but what do I know?

    Thats what its for.

I believe that ABS is a *backup* system. If it kicks in it is because you failed to brake properly. If you brake properly, you are just barely at the friction point where your wheels begin to break free.

I think there's a tiny tiny percentage of riders who can panic brake with this level of skill. But there are way more riders who think they can, but they are wrong, IMHO

all my bikes are turn key but i know how to repair them if something goes wrong, which is rare. hell i don't even treat the fuel over the winter or nothing but then again, i do ride in the winter. i giggle at people that send their bike to the dealer for a oil change and pay them to do it but this is more common now.
ABS... whatever floats your boat. i don't have a need for it. what are people gonna do down the road when the ABS fails?.... i bet most will not repair it.

i would ride the hell out of the moto guzzi !!!!
