    Default Ride for a reason

Now I most don't like large group rides bu next sunday Im going to be doing the ride for a reason with my grandpa and a few people from work and thought i would throw it out there to see if anyone is going or would like to join. I plan on getting some breakfast in the morning then rolling out to cabellas where the ride starts.

Ride fee is 25 dollars and includes dinner aftewards at biker bobs.

Heres some pics that my awesome girlfriend took during the ride. We need to work on her camera skills though.

Overall I think there was 1200 bikes and 2000 people and 62,000 was raised for the center for the blind. Chibs from SOA was there but I didn't wait in line for that. They fed us famous daves at the end and the food was pretty good. We kept a nice pace during the ride and it was a 65 mile route from cabellas to biker bobs and took about 2.5 hours and my feet didn't touch the ground til the end of the ride because they had all the roads blocked. I think average was between 40 and 50 mph with a few slow spots. Lots of people out along the route waving us on. Its not my favorite ride but I do go to the penrickton center for the blind quite a bit during work and knowing we raised that much money for them was an awesome feeling. Next year I'm playing the 50/50 since the winner got 1800 bucks.
