    Default gar fishing

Caught 4 alligator gar today. Best part was i only used a net lol. Ranged in size between 16" to 25". Could of got more but it was too easy lol. I let them go to grow a little more.

Little perch are biting everything, cept eating my worms for catfish. Next time im gonna make them into chum!!!!! Lol. Im dying for some catfish for some reason.
Anybody use a good catfish bait? Might just use the little perch seeing they swallow the hook and the die anyway.

That's a marine animal. (salt water)

In Michigan, you could catch a Longnose Gar or a Spotted Gar. Nowhere near as big as an Alligator Gar, but still nasty looking

A lot of people call them 'needle nose gar'. We always did.
