Default Gun confication in new york has started!

This is only 1 example of what is happening across the state.

Don't think this cannot happen in your state. Everyone is watching New York and if they are allowed to get away with this other states will follow. You can take that to the bank! Anyone in the country can call Governor Cuomo of New York and tell him what you think of his Constitutional Abuse. His number in Albany is (518) 474-8390.

This case is dancing a fine line. It is the mental health issues in this country that are causing the problems with gun control. But the problem is, where do you draw the line when it comes to mental health and the debate that if you go down the mental health road does that mark you like a felon for life in gun ownership.

On the face of it this is bad, but ultimately this is a good thing. The only way you guys in NY will ever get this law off the books is if a federal court overturns it, especially if they find it unconcstituional. With any luck there will be a few more, and it will end up in the SCOTUS. The current justices are pretty conservative, so it needs to get there before they retire and Obama has a chance to put liberals on the panel. I would push hard for more of these cases.

You are luke warm sir. Mental health is a debatable term. Most politicians are mental unstable but that's ok because everyone knows, acknowledges it and employs utmost apathy. Things like the babysitter drug for ADD are the problem - known to cause psychosis yet they hand them out like candy. Little Johnny won't sit still! Yeah motherfucker because he is 5 years old most kids won't. So instead of taking time and effort to guide the young man they take the easy road and just shove psycho therapy drugs down his throat. There is little to no control over prescriptions of these drugs and the people prescribing are mentally unstable themselves. The definition of ill mental health is even debatable. Not saying there isn't people out there who are just straight up whackos just saying the majority of the problem is the system and how things are handled. We create our own bottomless pit of feces and then complain about the stink. I could go on and discuss how society in general is fucked up and conditioned to be fucked up but I don't have time and you motherfuckers probably already quit reading.

I had a patient the other day that did a combination of DMT and bath salts. He was all kinds of whacked out of his mind.

Extraordinarily good outcome! Now they're admitting that the law didn't look like it'd work on paper, and this proves it. Guilty until proven innocent!

NY, Colorado, Maryland, Ill, Connecticut and others all need a dose of this until these laws get a good hard look by SCOTUS.
