    Default 06 cbr help!

Hey guys, just took the bike out on the road today, I couldn't wait any longer! But it's idling abnormally. After engine temp gets up around 185 the bike will still idle around 3k. It just feels like its idling way too high, It is fuel injected, I don't know where to start diagnosing!

Run some seafoam through it and make sure gas is fresh. Check the cbr sites too and see if there is a problem with that year.

So can I assume that before it gets to 185* it acts normally?

Thanks guys, it will run at 3k rpm while cold and it will stay there when the engine is warm. Like its choking itself, thinking the engine is running cold when it's not. My dad said unplugging the battery is worth a shot to maybe reset the computer? I will try that tonight. Seafoam is a good idea also, ill give that a shot

    All good ideas.

I do wonder if it's a bad sensor. But I would try the easy stuff first.
