Default My 2013 Mod Season - Pic Heavy

I started my 1st piece of the mod season.

After my last camping trip I decided I wanted a 12v power point in my tourpack. Then I saw my bud Norm's CVO they do make a 3 light kit like shown in the link here --> however you can't find the part number online for all 3 pieces. All three pieces part number is 54331-04A at $119.95, which saves you $20. The link --> is not for all 3 lights!! saddlebag & tourpack bag lights... they were super cool.

Well I run my tourpack with a detach kit and don't want to add too many more wires. The 12V had a disconnect wire but they wanted it plugged into the Assc switch which means it would only be on when the bike and it's switch was on. So I wanted to combine the wiring and make it only one wire to the battery directly.

So I bought the necessary connectors, including the deacsch(SP?) connector.

    Here's the installed 12v

The saddlebag lights, go under the tourpack and shine down into the saddlebag.

You tap the light and it comes on

These pics don't do the amount of light justice. It's not blinding bright but perfect amount.

Here it is shining on the saddlebag lid

Here it is into the saddlebag

Tourpack light is on the lid

    Is plenty bright

    I'm pretty happy with it.

Got lots more coming this "mod season". Going to start ordering parts maybe next week.

Nice job, Chrs, I like the idea of lighting the saddle bags from the tour pack.

I think we could just tap into that 12V power. Would be super easy!

It should help when camping off the bike. Granted it sucks that I only get the benifits when the tourpack is on, but that's when I really really need it.

Great mod G man!.......I remember going into BB's and you where behind the counter putting all this shit together. I though you might have gotten a job at the parts counter since the rest of us are only allowed on the customer side......
