Default Where do you buy your mod parts?

Not so much your repair parts but the parts you buy for upgrades or mods... where do you get them?

I usually go off recommendations form either real life friends or forum friends. It usually ends up being a sponsor on a forum unless I find a good deal locally. I will check local first and if it is a ridiculous amount more I look elsewhere. I do like to pay more for ease of purchase and customer service but only to a certain extent.

For instance with my heavy breather after I broke it. To get the parts from biker bobs it is going to be about 100 dollars more than if I order online at another harley dealer. It would be nice to get it from BB and be able to return if its wrong but 100 bucks changes it for me.

I have ordered all my parts and mod's from on-line Harley dealers. We don't have a local HD dealer in my area the nearest HD dealer for me is Wolverines....I have bought a few things from there...but usually save 20% and order on line.
I also have gotten links from friends and forum members on where they bought something and saved money...I get asked alot on where I buy parts from..I have no problem sharing the wealth..or giving other people info on where I have bought something...that shit doesn't bother me at all...

Depends, if I'm in a hurry and its not a big expense, I buy local. More expensive but I dont begrudge anyone a profit.

For bigger stuff over the winter, its usually lshd1.

For non-Harley stuff I often buy from

I prefer to buy from my local dealer. I usually check pricing of what I'm after on line before I go into the dealer. I don't mind paying say 10% more than I would buying on line but more than that , I'll shop it on line.
