Default 2008 wheels vs 2009 wheels - HD FLH

Do you guys know if a 2008 FLH (Electra Glide Ultra Classic) can swallow a set of 2009 FLH (Electra Glide Ultra Classic) wheels?

I know the rear goes from 150mm to 180mm

Do you guys know, without Caveman just trying to make them fit???

I don't know about that Chris...but being that I had some time to kill I Googled your question and found something similar...will 09 FLX wheels work on a 08 FLX Street Glide...
not sure if this would be the same for the Ultra's...if you scroll down in this thread...there is another link to another thread on how to get a 180 tire on a 08

Yeah I'm still not sure. Sounds like a basic measurement from pulley face to rotor face would need to be done for sure.

Thanks for posting this, Gas. I was about to get on here and do the same thing. I have also been searching around and can't seem to find anything definitive. Lots of mods here and there but I would think that there is a way without complelely reworking the whole bike just for 30 mm. Some things just aren't worth the hassle

I hear ya Cave. I think we should just measure the face to face measurement and see if those are changed. Problem will be getting an accurate measurement. Proabably a tape measure and a straight edge.

Spoke to my buddy at the dealer and he said, the front will fit fine. The rear will fit the frame and swingarm but NOT the fender. So... I'm putting them up for sale...
