Washed, clay bared, pre-wax cleaner, polish, and waxed. Then I did an oil change & service.

Tore the outer primary off because it's going to get powdered.

Then I tore the detach kit apart, going to get one piece re-powdered and removed the old plate mount, because I'm relocating the plate to below the tail light. Monday I hope to tear into the rear wheel and such. Need to remove all the tail lights off the rear fender... also need to get into the front end because that's all getting torn apart.

Nice beer on the lift, what is it?

While the primary's off, maybe time to get a Hayden or Baker primary tensioner? Lots of chatter about the stock auto tensioner causing problems.

Just trying to spend some of your money, Chris!

The beverage is a Woodchuck Hard Cidar Fall edition. I've been hittin the hard cidars allot. But my new fav is Angry Orchard Apple Ginger.

I looked at those but I did a close inspection of my adjuster and it seems fine. Barely worn too. Not bad for 25k miles. Plus that baker version is $200 and because there is no adjustment window in our primaries, would require me to pull the outer everytime I wanted to check adjustment. SUCKS!

Got to spend some more time on it today...

The BIG surprise for the mod dept for me is the addition of a set of HD Agitator wheels

Rear rims go from 16" to 18", but with a lower profile tire I only pick up an inch of actual wheel height & circumference.

    Old

    New

Front goes from a 17" to a 19" but only grows 1/2" in height and circumference.

    Old

    New

So I got to this point

But really wanted to pull off the front fender, but the wire for it is tucked way up inside the fairing (dumb and I will try to reroute later)

I forgot to do this before I took the front fender off, but you get the idea... it's going to look HOT!! Getting the forks powdered black as well.

Found this speaker bracket is broke...

    Did a bit more work...

    Unwired the tail light

Removed the entire tail light, blinker bar, and fender tip light

This is gone forever... the tail light, blinker bar, old plate mount from the detach kit, and the old horn cover (more on that later)

Remove the front blinker/spot light bar

    This is also gone forever

The spots set aside for their new mounts & buckets. The fender tip light will get smoked by me with DHT!

    Bike is like this now

Got this Chrome Dome horn cover that I think is just sick as fuck!

And last but not least... for safe keeping in the basement, during the project...
