Been out with the snow flying along the lake and riding through freezing rain/snow. Rode to and from Gratten through that weather. Frost on the bike in the morning before heading to the track. I bet I was one of two with heated grips on the track, lol.

Mid 30's if I'm riding locally. Longer rides I would look for temps to be at least in the mid 40's maybe 50.

The first ride I took on my Big Dog K-9...it was 28 degrees out...rode in the 30's plenty of times...now with the Ultra...heated hand grips are the shit!

Counting riding my moped, I've done several runs in the negatives and snow storms. Strictly on the sporty, I've had her out in low 10's, only real limit I have is traction(next tyres will be something other than these fucking low grip dunlops) and whether or not I'm going anywhere after work (just ain't worth firing her up for 4miles round trip if I'm only going to work and back). I need to invest in another pair of heated gloves or try some heated grips.

Greg, who might the other one have been? Wasn't that fun wiping slush and ice off the faceshields?

I've done -20 several times, but the bike always seems to start hard in the mornings. Had to put an electric heater under it several times. Next to impossible to keep your faceshield clear, need to crack the shield open some and you better have all exposed skin covered! Now I see they have heated shields.

Thats where the heated grips started.
