    Sounds good Dave.
Looks like that baby is ready to taxi out on to the runway.

Dave has been seriously busy working on his new scoot. I think he's in love...

Yesterday we went to the swap meet, then went out for some dinner later with some other non-riding friends.

Today we got busy on his bike...

    New timing cover

    New derby cover

Also setup a set of highway pegs for him.

But the Big job on the list was detachable tourpack kit, so we got the saddlebags out of the way.

Worked on the wiring in the tourpack, and did the Gas Man tail light mod (making the tourpack tail lights only brake, by disabling the running light aspect).

Found that he was missing this connector pin locker. He called where he got the parts and they are sending me a new one. I gave him the part right off my bike... now that's love of the brotherhood!!

Off with the tourpack, leaving behind the old hard mount

Off with the old hard mount, and old fender strut covers

Install the new docking mount and new fender strut covers

Then also get the license plate mount installed

I didn't get a whole bike shot of the tourpack back on, but it was. He washed his bike to kill time/leave after rush hour and headed home. Tomry he will get some whole bike shots. It was a good day. Detach kit took about 4 hours, and about another hour for the other odds and ends.

Great job, guys! Thanks for the pics.

Dave, when you get a chance, can you get a few pics of what the license plate looks like with the tour pack off?

Here's my question on the tour pack detach kit: What are my options to relocate the license plate after the detach kit is installed? I really want to put the plate below the tail light.

Kosher. Just look at any pic of my bike.

If you don't want to use the plate spot you could simply not install those arms. I am relocating mine this mod season.
