Got this amazing collection of parts

So today we got the guide plates, push rods, and rocker arms installed.

This is a thing of beauty.

Dart adjustable guide plates keep the push rods in their happy place

    MSD distributor

    Installed

    New Holley fuel pump

    Installed

Holley 4150 double pumper... in full polish

    Oh my!!

    What an amazing look!

We also figured out that some of the parts that were ordered don't fit. The problems with building a Mustang II that has a 289 block converted to a 302...

Looks awesome.... The intake manifold would have looked even better painted! YMMV

Actually what would look cool is have Nate get that aluminum intake polished....I have seen a few that were polished and looks pretty sweet!

Polished is cool as long as you keep up on it. But I don't think that's Nate's style.

Nate picked up a radiator for a 66, because the 76 M2 radiators are shitty to find and the only one he found for direct fit was $1200! WTF. This all Alum jobber was like $500 with the electric fan and t-stat

    Had to fab some brackets

    Got it nice and center

    Attach the new flywheel

    Install the new diaphragm clutch

This is perhaps the prettiest starter I have ever seen.

Installed the starter and the Hooker Headers

The new cobra bell housing is a bit wider, the shifter fork is hitting the new headers... HOUSTON we have a problem.

Get the motor lowered in to see how the rest of it fits with the headers on.

Will have to install the steering shaft from below.

She looks damn pretty in there!
