Today we were going over what needs to be done, what needs to be ordered, and what just needs clean up. Probably about $1,000 to get it going down the road for a test spin and the first "miles" it has seen in 16+ years.

Nate had a day off so he got the throttle cable hooked up

    Carb end

    Gas pedal end

With the battery going to be in the trunk, we have battery terminal blocks mounted where the battery use to live. Then he hooked up and mounted the voltage regulator as well.

I think getting it started has lit a fire under Nate's ass and he's excited to get some traction on it... hopefully ACTUAL traction real soon!

So we got the brakes assembled, lines ran and bled, got the fuel lines in with the new gas tank. And she left the garage on her power.

Laid a small 11 while testing the clutch and brakes

Then it was time to hit the streets

I missed his rip down the street, and the damn neighbors lawn mower messed with the sound

And last but not least, a small walk around

    Play list

Nate finished the hood cut to clear his air filter. The old hood had a non-functional hood scoop. We will be making it functional!!

Nate got to hanging the fenders... starting to look like something

I guess this cap is better than the rag tampon we were using.
