    Default Gearing up for camping

I have a small 2 man tent but needed to get another larger tent, but something that was small & light enough to haul on the cycle.

I was at the army supply store for some MRE's and found this nice 5 man/10x10x5.5'.

I set it up so I could seal the bottom 2 seems just to play it safe.

The 5 man should be good for 3 guys with gear.

This should be a great thing for Port Dover & Copper Harbor.

It was a brush on... shown in the 1st pic. It keeps the threads for leaking through.

nice little tent. Did you go to harry's for the MRE's. theres a bunch of online places you can buy them and pick your meals so you don't end up with the nasty ones like the vegetarian ones. My personal favorites are the jambalaya and chicken enchilada. I like to stock up for the hurricane deployments come the end of summer. Iv'e got a 3 man tent similar to that one but it hasn't been used in a while. Seeing this stuff is getting me excited for port dover and also reminding me I should start getting my shit together and figure out what I still need.

I have checked Harry's and they were more way $$.

I should also add that it has a rain fly that I didn't put on.

At Woodville, you can buy menu A or B. Both sound good.

I was thinking once we get a list of who's going to say Copper Harbor, I would see who wants to MRE it. I'll bring what is needed. I figure they'll be good for around the camp fire.

Lance... I hear ya. I'm always trying to refine my camping gear. I already have an inflatable bed mat, 2 different sleeping bags, and a camping pillow. As well as a couple LED headlights (for your melon). Maybe when you come over to work on your scoot, we can go over some things... text me about it. I'm free Mon & Tue.
