    Default UP tour.

    http://mapq.st/Lb3XZv

Left Friday morning and got home Monday morning. Tried out the new seat for the wife. Had to make sure she was good doing 400 miles in a day. (in preparation for our Smokey Mt trip in 3 weeks) She has always been, but it has been unconformable. This trip proved to be money well spent on the new seat! (Lepera Aviator Gel) It was a good time.

1st day we hit Iron Mountain stayed there.
2nd day we stayed in Munising, after hitting http://www.northernlightshd.com/
3rd day we danced with evading the forest fire in Seney Wildlife Refuge. Sad. The parks were closed.
Last night was in Mac City.

Good times, were NOT good at taking pics. We get lost in the moment while away together and don't ever remember to use the damn camera.

We've been all over the UP, but we never took the back way from Munising (past Pictured Rocks) up to Grand Marais. Great ride!

When we pulled into the drive way it was 1197 miles total. I wanted to do 1400, but we got hit with some rain that made us sit in a few places and warm up a bit, and that cost us. But over all it was a great ride as usual!

    Ride on!!!

The bugs??? They MUST feed them steroids!!!!!! The bike was ruined in the first 200 miles up there! It was crazy! I blew a fuse just before going into Iron Mt. I thought it was in my amp in the fairing so I took that off. (it wasnt') missed fuse in the fuse box. What a nasty mess that was! YUK! I think it weighted 10 lbs more, just cause of the guts...

Sounds like a great ride! Someone told me they had paved the road from Munising to Grand Marais, it used to be dirt, bet that was a sweet ride. I'm gonna have to come up with some extra sweet talk to convince my sweetie to cross the Big Mac though. She's dead set against it.

Yes it is. And it WAS nice. I'll take that ride anytime! Now I wish they'd pave it from Grand Marais all the way around to Newberry.

When we went across this time the wind was blowing so hard they had wind advisories, trucks being escorted across, all that good stuff. Wife and I have been over 100+ times on various skoots, she's ALWAYS nervous, but this time she had her arms dug in so deep, I had to tell her to chill out... it was nerve wracking however...

Forgot to add this... neat little magazine we found while in the UP. Handy for events and "Biker Friendly" places! (most are anyways)

Check it out, I don't know if anyone else had posted this, but I don't remember seeing it.
