Really, the Heist is best summed up by one of Cleveland Cycle Werksí dealers, Steve Barber, of Scooter City Sacramento. For many potential buyers who wander into his emporium, there are three choices: a scooter, the Heist or the bus.
Yes, itís made in China (with various parts from other places), says Clevelandís owner/visionary Scott Colosimo for the millionth time, but then, what isnít? he asks, submitting as Exhibit One his constantly active iPhone. Made in China. In case you hadnít noticed, a huge proportion of everything we drive, communicate upon, ride and play with now comes wholly or in part from China, along with a lot of what we eat, sleep on, lose sleep over and whine about. The baby-faced 29-year-old Colosimo is a realist. Trained as a designer and quickly frustrated after a few years inside American Industry, he decided to just bypass all of it and pursue his dream: build cool motorcycles. Cool motorcycles people can actually afford.

Great article leebo!! Thanks and the owner has a point.

Bill. I know you're right. But Im not sure about it this winter. With my back yard project killing my savings I'm a little unsettled.

I've been digging on CCW for a while. I keep having to sit on my hands and not buy the cafe racer and toss dirt tyres on it for winter, until after I finish fixing my house. I point my friends from work in their direction anytime they mention they want to get a cheap scoot and get their cycle endorsement.

I am interested in them a bit but would prefer to see one in person before I made such a plunge.
