    check your manufacturers specs.

Dont know what you ride, but know harley did DOT 4 most of the time, BUT a few years did DOT5(silicone).

They are not compatible, you will have a mess.

Personnaly I buy the DOT 4 excusively, you CAN mix DOT3 and 4 but thats what I do.

09 Low Rider, Manual calls for Dot 4. This Valvoline I picked up is synthetic Dot3 & Dot4. Says it's compatible with all brake systems.

You should be good to go then.

I believe for the 20k you are also suppose to grease the steering head. HD has their own "special" grease for this. Not sure why it's special, I have a tube and it don't seem too special.

And as always, be sure to check your breaks. Depending on your riding style and type of miles... you may be about up for front brake pads.

Don't forget to run a brush and some brakeclean around the sides of the brake pistons, keeping them clean gives better braking and longer seal life. Also helps you to bond with your ride.
