Bleche White is what I found to work awesome on white walls and white lettering. I started using this stuff when I had that Drifter with the low fenders and I could not reach the tires to clean it.

I must say that I agree. My Dad had me using this stuff when I was 8 and started to help wash cars. It worked super well on the white lettering of the tires on his cars and I use it to this day as well. Works great. As far as on the large WWW surface I would think that would be the safest bet to not dry out the rubber and end up getting cracks that would look just as bad. IMHO.
