    Default Hand gun guys

ok, I don't do guns as I am kinda old school and rather use my hands, but ran across this today

    http://www.hi-pointfirearms.com/hand...uns_45acp.html

That's a damn cheap gun there. Anyone have one or used one.

If you go to a gun show and you see a bunch of gang bangers hanging around one table, you know they carry Hi-Point.

Damn cheap is a good way to describe them. Reviews run the gamut from 'junk' to 'great'. I certainly wouldn't trust my life to one, but I might get one of thier 9mm carbines just for plinking fun.

On the plus side, their customer service is supposed to be great, no questions asked.

BTW, we do have a firearms forum now.

Here's a link to a thread and poll on Hi-Point over at Michigan Gun Owners.

Alcohol, Tobbaco and Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.

    Agree 100% with Tele.

You'll see guys that love them and guys that hate them but if you go to a show and see a bunch of ghetto rats around a table it probbaly has Hi Points.

In all honesty, in this economy, Hi Point is probably doing pretty well though, sales wise.

    Save your money.

Buy a used Ruger. They are durable, priced reasonable and made in the USA.

LOL, so are Hi-Points, (well, maybe except for durable) made 100% in Ohio!

Yeah Haskell makes the 45 acp for em.

Dont like the polymer guns very much. Should have added that as well.

Was targeting more toward 45 acp and all the other competitors out there, not just strictly Hipoint.
