Where do you peeps get your tires / and mounted around here? Also I'm having a rough time with the tire choices out there the pricing seems all over the place. I've found bridgestone and dunlap tires for $107 per tire and some for $270 per tire. Unlike car tires the price doesn't seem dependent on quality/life/grip. At least to me anyway lol.

Looking for a white walled 130-90-16 I came across these: http://www.amazon.com/Shinko-777-Whi.../dp/B001TGPWK2

Never heard of the brand before but they are cheap as f@@k and look decent.

I've run Shinko's on several sportbikes. IMO, they're a real good tire for the money. I buy most of my tires off ebay anymore. You can find good deals all the time. I mount them myself and take them to the local dealership for balancing, they only charge me $5 to balance.

Sport Bike Track Gear is the place for tires and mounting. DTP Muscle was good too but they moved to Florida.

Also, if you email or call Sportbike Track Gear you'll usually get a better price than the one online.

Update your location in your details.

I don't have much suggestion for that area though.

I wouldn't mind traveling a bit to get it done just need somewhere where it will be done right as the wheels are going to be rattle canned.

Not sure what your plan is but paint the wheels AFTER mounting the tires. Paints is easily chipped when mounting tires.
