    Default FZR600

I know I go through bikes like toilet paper.*

Here is my new ride.* I swear the guy that I bought it from lost 50% of the bolts to the bike!* I just got back from the hardware buying like 10 bolts that where missing and I still never got the bolts missing for the fairing.* Anyway, it gave me something to do and I know it's done right now.* I also cleaned and oiled the chain tonight and adjusted it so it did not have 3" of play.* WTF?!* It surprises me what some people will ride and fee safe riding.* The left foot peg was held on by about 3 threads and the shifter linkage had no bolt in it and fell out.* Luckily I have not plated it yet. LOL*

Then I washed it and cleaned it really good and the bike is not wanting to start too well.* I'll have to get that figured out.

I'm actually thinking of leaving the side fairing off and just having the front, tank cover, and rear fairings and possibly painting them all black or some sort of flat for now.* What do you think?

These are the fairings.* The left one is cracked, totally, at the bottom as you can see.

Well, I decided to go the flat black route.* I didn't spend much time prepping and just sort of painted it.* It's going to look like a rat rod for sure. LOL

I decided to leave the wheels red and I'm trying to find a red tinted windscreen to go with it.* I think that will look sweet!

    And the finished product:
If I still have this bike over the winter I'm going to try and paint the wheels more of a candy apple red color or similar to that Chevy in the driveway.
