Recently I got around to checking out his portfolio and was unimpressed especially with all the nice gear he shoots with.
I hear what you are saying - I take it with a grain of salt really and a lot of what he says is bullshit for sure. He does have good information in there and I like his information because it expands my horizons. I don't buy into his word as the bible. Actually I discuss with a photographer friend of mine some of the inconsistencies of Ken's stuff - such as manual mode is only for old school people and his love of program shift?? But personally I always like to look at every piece of information out there and he has definitely spent some time on his information so I find it worthwhile to a point anyways..

So you are not offending me at all.. If you have any advice I am all ears.. I have always loved to take pictures and for years been dealing with substandard equipment.. I now finally have a decent (imo anyways - Nikon D3000) piece of equipment and I am trying to learn all I can about it and how to get the most out of it..
