Default Chet Punisher's Dirty Dutchess... Really slow build...

    Back in June...

I come from a background of sportbikes. We are new parents, so I needed a hobby to last a few years. My plan is to build a bike I like. I will be buying a donor bike (taking advice on what I should use). I bought a 34 degree Kraft Tech frame. I'm planning on a springer front end, but I recently saw a narrow glide which I really like.

I found a nice Unity Spotlight to use as a Headlight.

    October Update...

As slow as this is going, I was really happy to get my wheels, tires and axle kit on Thursday. Here are the pics. Now to start saving for the front end.

    November Update...

So a friend gave me this awesome horseshoe tank... It needs a little TLC, but is in great shape.

I understand how it attaches to my frame. The only question I have is this: Do they make a bracket to attach the tank to the rear mount or do I have to fab it?

I also have a tank on the way... A little used... I will post pics of it next week...

    NOW update...

I am hearing from different sources that the oil tank won't work with a five speed transmission... SO I might have to rethink the oil tank...

Yeah, you might find that you will need a lot of odd and ends / brackets made and welded to get some things to work.

Think thats a Paughco oil tank.

Here is their website. If you can find any kind of # they can tell you for sure what it will work with.

Difficult to tell from your pics, but looks like tank is for pre 64 HD.

Could work for you depending on how your frame is setup.

Will tell you my Hardtail frame only works with the smaller oil tanks because of the limited space.

Looks great! I didn't think I'd like those 2 line whitewalls but they do look really good on the roller.

My horseshoe oil tank and biltwell seat hinge came in today. Need to order my mounting brackets for both my gas tank and my oil tank. Then I can at least have them mounted.
