    Default 73 sportster 1000 ironhead

    its a 1973 sportster 1000 ironhead that I picked up from a friend that was the second owner. he had just had the motor re-sealed about 2 or 3 years ago. its been sitting for a year now and needs the carb cleaned and maybe some new plugs. still all original. make offer

    if you look closer you can see a heal/toe shifter.

    which brings me to the next order of biz...

    How about a better pic? Might help ya sell it.

    If you look closer it appears to be a rear brake pedal. They went back a long way and connected near the back of the trans, like in the pic. I agree, if it was a better shot it'd be easier to see.

    Here, I screwed with the brightness and contrast some. Most definitely a rear brake pedal.

    I think the mandatory standardization took place in '74. My '72 project is right side shift.
