Default The Vulcan is gone....Long live the FZ1!

Man I was sad seeing the Vulcan ride away. I've never been attached to any of my bikes but that one I had a lot of work into. But I was getting bored with it and wanted something a little more fun to tool around on. Plus this one will most likely be for sale come Spring at my rate of bike turn overs. But I'm on a 2001 FZ1 now and here are the pics.

    Thanks!

Not really sure yet. I'm going to get insurance tomorrow and won't have the plate and stuff on until Friday. This weekend I'm going to get out for a longer ride down some back roads and get used to it. I've never had a road bike with this much power so I need to ease into it.

Nice. I bet that D&D is obnoxiously loud.

    Thanks guys!

The D&D exhaust is actually really quiet. MUCH quieter than my Vulcan running straight pipes for sure. It's a nice change.

The bars are not stock. They are just a set of drag bars.

    Nice ride meinschaft!

That blue will stay for now but the tank is a repaint and bubbling in a spot. The previous owner said he'll take care of it for me this winter but I'll probably just deal with it until it gets bad, if it gets bad, and do something else.
