Thumbs up Carlisle, PA Bike Fest (56k puke)

Every year they have this. I have wanted to go for years and years.

So I went this year... me and caveman.

    OK... lots of pics!!

The ride out was umm.... hott & horrible!

    Over I-280 South thru Toledo

At this point we are still in a decent mood.

I've always liked this little bridge up so high

Can you tell we have left the land of the flat?

    Caveman's wife rolled some vid

Met up with homie Marko in State College, PA

He led us on a nice ride to his house in Harrisburg.

And I must admit the Commonwealth of Penn is very gourgous.

    Trikes had a big precense

But this is taking it too far!

    This is just NUTSO

There were some great street fighter styles there as well.

    More random bikes

After which we retired to Marko's house, where Caveman dug into somin

    And then some reason...

So after a rainy Sunday... we head back towards Michigan. This time via PA Turnpike I-76, which I must say is way better than the 99/322 via State College/coming from the north.

Our ride home was AMAZING. A picture perfect 75*-80*, blue skies, nice twisted mountain highway... and the 3 long awesome tunnels
    http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...t=IMG_8008.mp4

Light at the end of the tunnel

Still great views before the darkness came...

    Love those windmills

Love these little towns on the mountain sides

We made it home from this perfect evening/night ride. The ride home made the heat of Fri/Sat all worth it.

Thanks guys. It was another good trip.

I swear... anymore. Rding around here to bike nights, to work, etc. All just seem like blah miles to put in till my next trip. I'm hitting the road again next weekend and going up north. Can't wait!

Then another trip at the end of Sep down to West Verginia for white water rafting. Should be fun!

If the rafting thing goes thru... that will be a trip in May, June, July, Aug, Sep, and in Oct I'm heading back down to Tenn but in the car with the dog.
