    Default Mudpuppy's 2010 Videos

Well I have been posting these in the Stinger's thread but they might get buried there. So I am starting a new thread in the proper area to get more exposure.

Here is my latest compilation from a solo ride I did on March 22 when everyone else was scared of a little precipitation. I labeled a couple of key areas to give people an idea of what to expect if they head out to the West Side Loop (further known as WSL) like grated road on North Territorial West of US23, Darwin Road detour from Dexter-Pinckney to McGregor where it is dirt. This is video 1 of 2. I had so much footage I had to split it into two videos:

And here are the other two I previously released from Boomer's Bike Nights:

Great music on the WSL video. And I'm still liking the GoPro angle, even better than the helmet cam. AND I think you guys should take me there next week.

Nice! The helmet cam was starting to make me seasick (maybe I wouldnt make a good crab fisherman, NG...) but the side mount was top notch.

I have to get some bigger SD cards so I can shoot more video at 720p/60fps and get some good smooth hi def action going.

dood i gave you the link for 16gb sdhc for $27.. skip a meal or two or stop smoking crack for 1/2 a day and you could get a couple fo sho..

and yes we will hit the west side loop very soon.. next week sounds great.. i think i know a couple of things wrong with helmet cam but inherently it is set up to fail because your head is constantly moving.. but i did find it is damn good for still shots.. i need to get some new velcro and adjust the angle a bit then see how it is.. i haven't given up hope on it yet.. the velcro was actually kind of shitty because i put it on the bike in 2 locations, then on the frankenstein mount and finally on the helmet.. so all adhesive properties ceased to exist.. that didn't help vertical movement like its supposed to.. and with no bikes in front there is zero perspective..

and aeryck PUHLEEZE find that plastic polish so i can fix the lens on the gopro..

part 2 of the WSL video is even better.. just have to put it together.. the roads start getting much better..

those roads out there are amazing though the other day was the first day i hit them by myself and was so much better than following some one. let me know when you guys head out that way im looking forward to those roads again.
