    Lightbulb ultra lower fairing snaps - fix/replace

    they have annoyed me for far too long. The stupid plastic, bike side, snaps on the lower fairing glove boxes. They simply don't snap well enough.

    It starts like this...


    I purchased some 5/8" snaps at the craft store
    Purchased some 6-32 by 1" stainless steel bolts, SS washers, and SS wing nuts.


    Cut off the old plastic ones on the inside and then pry out with a screwdriver



    Replaced with metal


    All done it looks the same but they actually snap close with ease.


    Cost me under $20 and I'm glad they are fully functional now.
