    Default 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 "Drifter"

    I am selling my 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 "Drifter".* Blue book is $4295 so I'll start there OBO.* It has 13,900 miles and runs great.* It's got a new coil, plugs, and wires.* In case anyone is wondering, I'm selling it so we can use the money on the new house.

    Sale pending.* A guy saw my add on CL and is supposed to fly in tomorrow from Kansas, buy the bike, and ride it home.* We are supposed to pic him up from the airport tomorrow evening.

    That is AWESOME!!!

    I did that when I stole the VTX from my dad... haha... Flew to NYC and rode it back to Michigan.

    Good luck with the sale.... that is flipping awesome!!!

    Thanks man!* I actually just called him and talked to him for a few.* It's for his wife and he said he's always wanted to do a long ride like this.* He's 52 and said the only thing he's waiting for is the airline confirmation.* He's got insurance and everything and said he's just flying in wearing his riding boots, leather jacket, and carrying everything in a back pack. I forgot i had saddle bags for the bike too so he seemed excited to knwo I was going to install those for him tonight.

    Was he nice enough to let you know, or did you get chumped; waiting at the airport until it was clear he wasn't on the plane?


    (in the past week that's happened to me 6 times from lame ass buyers on CL, though I didn't have to wait at the airport. I can't understand why people just won't say-no thanks, I changed my mind)
