I met Dan Kaye from Detroit Bros. at Foran's on opening day... I was drinking a Short's Hum Lupa Licious (and then a lot else).

I'm a huge fan of Short's Soft Parade myself. Shorts Huma Lupa is a bit hoppy for me. Try Soft Parade!!

Had a couple of Blockentackles last weekend. Left the bar, walked a couple of blocks and tackled a light post.

Stayed at Four Queens downtown on Freemont street - total dump but was free 2 nights and then Orleans on Tropicana just off the strip - very nice hotel and it was free 2 nights also.. gambled stupidly and lost.. my fault.. too many distractions.. hard to keep control of a large group so the trip was largely a waste but hard not to have a good time in Vegas even when traveling with indecisive idiots.. That and I didn't pay for hotel or airfare so my gambling losses were definitely less than either of those would have cost me..

Here is Mrs. MP's cousin, Mrs. MP and myself at Hooters Hotel and Casino on Tropicana where we ate some dinner that night:
