    so really this person could have been burned from the actual seat material and really nothing to do with the gel? I believe that could be possible. The way they described it was the gel boiled and caused the burn.

    I can attest to the gel, they are called hotspots and seems they bother some people but not others. I had problems so I switched to the dry polymer type material.

    or I am thinking you could always put some kind of cover over the seat with an ice pack to keep it cool and out of direct sunlight.. that would be something i would do at the track because the bike is out in the hot sun all day..
