    Default chopSmitty 2010 project

This bike will be out and about in the summer...god willing! For those of you who don't know me, I build customs with alternative power plants... Most of them happen to be Briggs & Stratton engines. This bike will use a 35hp Briggs engine, a CVT type (snowmobile) transmission - yes, it's automatic and have a one off custom front end and rear suspension. The tank will be under the engine and the back bone will be very similar to a Rooke bike.

Just some test pipes to get it fired up...
Took all the covers off and powder coated them straight white.

Did a polished cover for the shroud inlet, had to paint the plastic main engine cover to match the powder coat. Got the pipes painted so they didn't rust. This was all done later last summer in anticipation for this build

Bought a set of wheels and tires off Ebay. 21 x 3 and 17 x 11 with a 120 up front and a 330 in the rear. Avons. The wheels are by Black Bike Wheels. I had to delace them, powdercoat them, relace and true them.

    Never again!!!!!!!!!!

This is our bike. I'm building it for my Jennifer so she can ride with me, so it will be here on the streets of Grand Rapids. We probably won't be putting to many miles on it until the AMD World Championships at Sturgis.

I have also. Can you tell us more about the engine? Your bikes are so unique, I want one.

It's just a 35hp Briggs & Stratton w/ governor removed and all painted/powdercoated white. I plan on putting an old time stromberg carb on it. Stromberg 81 would be perfect.

I'm pretty sure it's about 900cc's or so and it is one heavy biotch!! - about 150 lbs.
