Hi everyone,
I go by Jake and I'm a 30 year veteran of the asphalt. Been around the country a couple of time's and thru the Canadian north. Don't have any interest to see Mexico cause it's the same as Texas,Arizona, New Mexico, California. Instructed the MSF Foundation curriculum for 10 year's til they took the fun out the that but I still support the program. Rode all the Brit bike's back when they were still popular till someone said you HAVE to HAVE a Harley. Well, we won't go there but needless to say, out of the 11 ride's I have I don't have a Harley now. They build a damn fine bike, now, but they've priced themselves out of my ball park. I'm open to any and all ride's, I do my own wrenching and have gone dry so I don't bar hop anymore. I quested a little over 16,000 miles last year and well on my way to over 18k this year. Not bragging, but being semi retired has it's privileges. I have participated in Iron Butt Run's occasionally and got one of their funny paper's on my desk. Great people.
I wore color's at* one time but have since left that scene to the younger crowd. I believe we are all Brother's and Sister's of the Road. I reside in the middle of the thumb area of Michigan. Plenty of good road's, low traffic and great people. Try not to forget the area when you travel north.
Feel free to contact me for a putt or if you have any question's about your ride, maybe I can help or, at least, make you laugh.

Hi Bob,
I currently reside in the saddle of my 99 Venture. I due solo work on my 85 BMW K100RT. My local ride's consist of a restored naked 78 Goldwing, 84 V65 Magna, 78 GS1000, 79 GS850, and a CJ 750 w/sidecar. I have a host of smaller ride's but don't use them much. They may be heading for new home's. What flavor do you have, Bob?

Nice rides!

I have a 1996 FZR600 which might be for sale shortly or I'll wait until Spring and a 2002 Vulcan Drifter 800.

Sweet introduction, brother, and a nice collection of bikes! Hard to beat a magna for freeway use. Man, they just glide down the freeway. Great riding up there where you're at, I often ride up to my uncle's up in Standish, and we ride to Tawas or up 75 to Gladwin then Eastbound to Kalkaska and uo to Traverse City. Be nice to hook up with ya sometime! take care.
