I dunno. To me this looks like an Electra Glide and Ninja mated in the back row of an abandoned drive-in.

Yeah, I'm not a Victory fan at all. I've never road one but I've sat on a few and I thought all of the controls felt like cheap plastic and it turned me off, especially for the price.

Well, I'm not painting them all with the same brush. redrider's Vic is a really nice looking bike:

But that thing in the original post, ugh.

Of course there are probably a shitload of guy that love it too, just a matter of taste.

I can't stand that Vic dresser... uglier than the ugliest girl in highschool.

The white one though is hot. But what's up with the rear pipe? Looks long.

LoL Tele, not a fan of skinny-minis?

As for the original post...not a fan at all of the full-dress Vic. Looks to me like a Bergman on 'roids.

Redrider's bike however, is a sharp mofo. Wouldn't be at all ashamed to ride that scoot.

We'll have to lure him out to Michigan first unless you're thinking road trip.

It'd be tough to dump him in the Rouge on a road trip.

Things have really changed for me since I posted last. I'm really digging Victory now and was just thinking today that if i was to buy a new cruiser I'd for sure look hard at the Victorys.

Keep looking hard Bob, then go test ride one. I did and there's no way. They are leaps and bounds behind HD. Even when you equip one to compete with the HD counterpart, they are still lacking. And don't let them fool you with their "larger displacement" motor either. Their 110" motor was weaker than my 96" HD. Not too mention they had some stupidity in uniformity. Leaving button on the controls in the lower touring models that hooked up to nothing, because that bike didn't have the higher priced option (ie: windshield control buttons).

Yeah, it'll be years before I would even be in the market for a new bike. LOL But iw as just going by looks, I honestly know nothing about these bikes.

I had a 04 Victory Vegas for about a year. Bought it wrecked and modded it. It was a nice bike but not really any nicer than metric cruisers I've had. I think their marketing has made them appear to some as better than other brands. IMO they aren't much different.

I sold it about a year ago it's down near Flint/Romeo now

That was a nice ride man!

I know when I sat on them at the IMS a few years back the controls felt really cheap to me. Like they used that hard cheap plastic or something. I just remember thinking they felt cheap.

Cheap and stupid. I rode a cross country and a vision. The vision had buttons on the controls that did nothing. The options they would control were upgrades that the bike didn't have. They just used the same controls on all the vision models, regardless of the option level. STUPID!

in regards to the Vic dresser (VD? ) I'll admit I have a strong bias for art-deco. absolutely love 1920-40's industrial styling with clean sweeping lines & etc... But the VD is just off the mark.. just enough that it looks fugly.. I did sit on an Vegas 8-Ball though and it felt nice (it's low sling was perfect for my height/limb length).. nothing else stands out in my memory about it tough..
