I'm starting a project with a contractor I've worked with on several jobs in the past. The project manager is an older guy, semi-retired. We always got along well, super nice. We got to talking on the project site and he asked how my summer went, what's new. I told him after waffling for years I finally got a Harley. Here's the rest of the conversation:

"Where'd you get it?"

"Bought it used, from a dealer down in Monroe."

"I wish I'd known, I could've got you a helluva deal."

"Why, are you selling one?"

"No, I know someone at Biker Bob's."

"Really? Who?"

"Bob. He's my brother....."

So anyway, to make a long sad story shorter and at least a bit happier, he said to let him know if I want something and he'll make sure they take care of me. Nice to know. I might have them do a 10,000 check just because I bought it used. Normally I'd do everything myself but it'd be good to have one of their mechanics give it the once over, maybe find something I wouldn't.

It wasn't the name that surprised me as much as the relationship. His brother? Jeez.
