I miss the road tracks but that got expensive. I'm thinking if I ever get another race bike it'll be for the straight. Milan is so close and cheap it'd beat an over night stay 3 hours away and over $200 for track time per day.

I can hear them from my house on a quiet night.

I took my bike last year on a test and tune and had a great time. I think I made 11 passes and pretty much destroyed my rear tire, and the only person I was faster than was someone on my exact bike. My goal was to get back this year and get the bike in the tens, but I don't see that happening.

My buddy went a couple times with his R6. He was running high 8's, he said he had a blast.

I've never been to Lapeer. Is it a nice track?

It's probably cheap to run though.
