Any UFC fans?

I am a fan of MMA and try not to miss a good fight on tv if I can help it. Anyone keep up on UFC or WEC? Anyone see UFC 103 last night?

Not sure if you guys watch much MMA, or that worlds strongest man stuff, but this could be HUGE!

The man that can currently lay claim to being the strongest man on the face of the planet is set to bring some serious pain to the world of mixed martial arts in the near future.

Five-time Worlds Strongest Man, Mariusz Pudzianowski, has been announced to face off with fellow MMA newcomer Marcin Najman in a heavyweight match-up set for Warsaw, Poland as the headliner for an event titled KSW 12.

The most decorated champion in the history of The Worlds Strongest Man, Pudzianowski captured the title a record five times during the years of 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2008.

Also affectionately referred to as Super Mario, Pudzian, Dominator, and possibly the gnarliest nickname of all time, The Big Python, Pudzianowski is a fourth kyu green belt in Kyokushin kaikan Karate which he has been studying and training since just eleven years of age. On top of his many years spent practicing Karate, Mariusz has also trained in competitive boxing for over seven years now.

As it stands right now, the 6′1″, 285 pound freak of nature is also listed as the top competitor in this years Worlds Strongest Man competition, which is slated to take place between the dates of September 26 and October 3. This years event will be hosted from Malta, a beautiful independent island in the center of the Mediterranean.

Homey is sooooo huge!

The measurements of Mariusz Pudzianowski:

Pudzianowski- Biceps 56 cm
- Nape 54 cm
- Waist 92 cm
- Thigh 80 cm
- Weight 132 kg
- Height 186 cm
- Chest 148 cm
- Forearm 45 cm

Own records:

- Bench Press 275 kg
- Squat 360 kg
- Deadlift 395 kg

All that "clean"... still having crazy cardio training! Man, if he learns grappling, it's game over for everyone else!

I follow MMA, not enough to tell you obscure fighters records but I try not to miss the big cards. I didn't know about this dude, though. There's so many interesting heavyweights now. I missed 103 though, went to Royal Oak to see "The Dan Band".

ya i watch him every year in the world strong man comp. he really is a freak of nature. other guys go out there weighing 300 plus and like 6'6" and he destroys them even in the stones. maybe him and brock should fight. I looking forward to sat too ufc 105 (mostly cuz its free).

also anyone watching the ultimate fighter now? who do you think will take the show?

personally i hope big baby wins cuz i think he has great potential...he is going to destroy titties and hopefully someone knocks out big country i hate that guy i wish kimbo would have stuck to his game and just beat some ass.

Kimbo didn't look that bad when he fought, he just fought a dude with alot more experience and a good ground game. He'll definitely get another shot.
