Cam plate and oil pump? Curious as to why, pretty sure the newer years are fine.

oil pump will pump 20% better, I have read about the H-D lifters failing so those are being replaced . It is just some insurance & I might as well do this while I'm installing the 117 kit

Lifters all suck, just generally. I've had stock HD lifters, Fueling lifters, and Woods lifters all fail. For what its worth, the builder I used would never use SE lifters. What lifters are you using?

Hell, I've even had a premium hardened valve spring shit the bed on me. (note bent valve also)

I am going to use Fueling ( it was a whole kit from Fueling)

The 117 kit I am getting also comes with lifters, but I'm not using the lifters , cams , push rods that come with the kit
