So I am thinking about buying one of those 4X4 trailers @ harborfreight for a couple hundred dollars bolting a rail down the middle to haul my bike.
What do you guys think ???
I dont have a whole lot experience towing bikes?Im wondering if it will be stable enuff?
Im gonna try to go to W.Va again this summer and maybe taking my bike this time.Be neat to ride around the base @ quantico with my son before he retires.

I think they are fine for small use. IF... IF... you weld the connections, and put bearing buddies on the wheel bearings.

Have you checked your local trailer place?

If you were down here I would suggest USA Trailer (http://www.usa-trailer.com)

But that may be outside your spending point.

Lee, just my opinion but i would stay clear of that HB trailer to tow that Triumph of yours with. To small to lite and i think you'll be bouncing all over the road. If you planned on using it for some kind of local cargo moving maybe, but the bike, no way.
I've towed and continue towing very heavy construction equipment as well as very lite equipment such as the HB trailer your thinking of. I have rolled (tipped over) this kinda of a set up at higher speeds.
Just my 2 cents....

like moe I don't think the HF trailer is heavy duty enough or long enough for your bike. you would do better pulling the HF trailer with your bike than trying to pull your bike on the trailer
