The city of Plymouth has declared war on us bikers. They don't want us to attend
their chili event. So they will block the streets but not allow bike parking -
you are "welcome" to attend on your bike and try to find a spot in one of the
Lions clubs $5 rip off lots if you want. They are highly discouraging it in
hopes of drawing in the Toyota Prius driving hipsters. The motorcycle community
is PISSED! The thread on the city of Plymouth FB page has over 200 comments and
the bon fire is still going. So, in light of this, I want to make everyone here
aware. Because of the asshole nature of the city, PCS is hosting a BIKERS
WELCOME chopper cookoff at their place. That is where I will be along with the
majority of the bikers. I know some bikers said we will go to DTP anyways - why?
What's the point? Apathy is MUCH better. Take your bike and your money
elsewhere. I guarantee this will be the last year of the chili cookoff for those
snobby piece of shit motherfuckers. Maybe the organizers will choke on their
chili. Who knows. Fuck em. Flyer for the real event here:

I still haven't seen it in the light that you are portraying it.

They have shifted gears. They aren't doing a bike show this year in lieu of a car show. While I think they should just do both that is their choice.

But I don't call it a complete war on bikers.

And how long have you lived in Plymouth? I've been here since 1976. I'm telling you its a fucking war on bikers. Its a fucking war on bikers. The same bikers who have made the chili fest a success for 18 straight fucking years with zero problems. FUCK THEM. You can search the interweb or google or believe what you want. The truth? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH. Look now you are making me go all Jack Nicholson. MFP. Just skip Kellogg Park and all the bs of the Toyota Prius hipster show and go to PCS. It's simple. Bikers unite. That's all you need to know. Question me again you will get gum on your tank motherfucker.

Ok... I'll concede to your wisdom of the Douchemouth.

It's posted on the website now... it's cancelled
http://www.greatlakeschili.com

Dear Sponsors, cooks, and participants,

We regret to inform you that the Great Lakes Chili Cook-off has been cancelled for this year. The board of directors has made this decision based on lack of financial support and unexpected personal reasons. The board is making plans to retool the event, so that it can be successful in the future.

We would also like to address the communities of motorcyclists. There have been some comments on social media encouraging the boycott of Plymouth and Plymouth businesses.

Please understand that the businesses are not involved in these decisions and the city is only a host for the Great Lakes Chili Cook-off. The cook-off is produced by The Great Lakes Chili Ink, which is a non-profit organization and provides support for local non-profits.

We would also like to thank the Motorcyclist for their continued support over the years. The past years successes were due to their participation. The idea to not provide reserved parking was not intended to offend any one but simply an attempt to make the event financially viable.

Thank you for your support over the last 20 years and we hope to bring back this wonderful event next year.

Regards,
Great Lakes Chili Ink

What a crock of shit. And maybe in the future you can treat me like motherfucking EF Hutton - when I speak motherfucker, just listen. I only talk about that which I know.

P.S. I owe you a swift kick to the nutz. You will get it next time I see you.

I look forward to it. Cage match.

Or we can drink beer, eat smoked foods and talk about bikes or life or whatever.

I'm kinda leaning towards the last one since I get my ass kicked everyday at home. But whatever rises your gas float. I'm in.

Kobayashi Maru? Didn't we sink that one in WWII or is that the one that rammed the Sea Shepard's?

I Know, the no win situation that Kirk cheated on. Trying to add a little levity, Jap merchant ship style.
